I am a Qualified Secondary School Teacher and an experienced French native Tutor. I was born near Paris, where I graduated from the University R. Descartes, but I fell in love with the South East of England a long time ago and have since made it my home. In 2003, I undertook a Teacher Training course at Sussex Downs College, Eastbourne and was awarded a Teaching Qualification (CELTA, A Grade). In 2021, I have been awarded QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) by the DfE (Department for Education) to enable me to teach French to 11 - 18 year olds in Secondary Schools.

As a private Tutor, I offer French tuition to young pupils from Y7 to Y13 (including preparation for GCSE/A Level/ IB/ Common Entrance), to University students & to adults of all levels. Classes are on a one-to-one basis, mainly online using Zoom or Teams, or occasionally at the student's home by arrangement, including a travelling fee.

I have worked as a private language tutor both in France and the UK on and off for the last 20 years specialising in French & English as a Foreign Language.

My experience also includes classroom teaching in Secondary Schools, Further Education colleges in Paris (GRETA, CNAM) & the South East of England (South Downs College, Eastbourne) as well as for private language schools.

I am now settled in Tunbridge Wells where I am raising my two bilingual children whilst continuing to tutor French.

The most important aspect of my practice is that each lesson I give is always individually-designed and tailored to meet each individual circumstance.
